Avinash Kaushik deservedly nabs the first spot for the Carnival of Marketing for his lengthy advice on how to win a new business pitch.
Some of these rules sound pretty obvious, but I hear all the time about people violating them, including some such as "don't be a jerk" and "manage your time efficiently." It also sounds like Avinash has directly or indirectly been inspired by Guy Kawasaki, whose 10/20/30 Rule of PowerPoint has become a mantra for savvy pitchers.
The only way any marketer will stay in business is to win business, so thanks, Avinash, for your candid thoughts.
