I guarantee if you were reading this on some stodgy corporate blog or newsletter, this post would not pass mustard (hehe, lunch pun). But this is my blog, so I'm going to devote space to one of the topics I'm most passionate about: the menu.
Five kind of sandwiches on varied types of bread, plus additional kosher and vegetarian options (the salmon and the Portobello mushroom were top quality). Plenty of food was there even though I was one of the last ones on line (I know, a rarity, but I had to take a call). The pasta salad and salad were decent, but too many nuts and seeds for my taste.
Then snacks – bags of chips, pretzels, popcorn, and Goldfish (I went for popcorn). Then the dessert tray – tons of mini cookies and pastries. My favorite: the mini strawberry cheesecake, delightfully pink with a drop of cream on top and a thin graham cracker crust. I’d get a second if I wasn’t stuffed and if it wouldn’t require me going right through the seated crowd where everyone’s attentively listening to Jordan Rohan (fine, you win; the fact that I’m stuffed doesn’t matter).
Oh, right, we have a speaker…
